This Privacy Policy describes how AXON Trailer ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our mobile application to connect to and control AXON hydraulic pump and crane power units via Bluetooth.

We built AXON Trailer to require as little personal data as possible. There is no account, no sign-up, and no user profile — the App works by pairing directly with your AXON hardware over Bluetooth.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, precise or coarse location data, contacts, photos, camera-captured images, or any account/profile information. AXON Trailer does not require account creation or login of any kind.

2. How We Use Information

To establish and maintain a Bluetooth connection with your AXON hydraulic power unit.
To send control commands (e.g. UP, DOWN, GRAVITY) to the paired device.
To diagnose app crashes and improve reliability, via automatically generated crash reports.

We do not use collected information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the App and diagnosing technical issues.

3. Third-Party Services

AXON Trailer uses the following third-party service:

Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) — used exclusively for crash and stability diagnostics. Firebase may process device identifiers and diagnostic data as described in Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase's Data Processing Terms.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

Bluetooth pairing information is stored locally on your device by the Android operating system. We take reasonable technical measures to protect any diagnostic data transmitted via Crashlytics, in accordance with Google's security standards. No sensitive personal data is transmitted or stored by AXON Trailer's own infrastructure, as the App does not operate a backend server for user data.

5. Data Retention

Crash diagnostic data is retained by Firebase Crashlytics according to Google's standard retention policies. Bluetooth pairing data remains on your device until you unpair the device or uninstall the App.

6. Children's Privacy

AXON Trailer is intended for use by adult operators of industrial and vehicle-mounted hydraulic equipment. The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Your Choices

You can revoke Bluetooth, Location, or Camera permissions at any time via your device's Settings, though this will prevent the App from discovering and connecting to your AXON hardware, or from scanning QR codes to enter a serial number.
You can uninstall the App at any time to remove all locally stored pairing data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
